so.. we never got screened for autism!! my mom didnt take us in as a 
kid and was pretty much too drugged out to notice that we needed
attention.. and it went unnoticed. we never knew why we couldnt do things
the way that our parents wanted us to, and why we couldnt ever do things other 
than the way we knew how.. until i realized that all of our friends were pretty
much exclusively neurodivergent.. and we had a meltdown two nights ago and 
realized that it had to mean something. so many things lined up with the
typical symptoms; basically it's evident that we have got autism, on top of
our already-determined adhd. it's just who we are, and this doesnt change that,
but now we know more about ourselves and how to move forward.
